Introducing the Sphenocath®: A New Treatment Option for Migraine Patients

Blog 5- Sphenocath

The Sphenocath® is a device for achieving sphenopalatine ganglion block (SPG) in patients who suffer from migraines. The sphenopalatine ganglion is a collection of nerve cells located just under the tissue lining the back of the nose. By applying local anesthetic to the area, nerve impulses can be temporarily blocked, providing relief from various types of pain. This short in-office procedure offers a majority of patients immediate reduction in pain.

A patient at Premier Neurology patient recalled the experience as “fast acting and offering welcome relief.”-JL (Founder of The Soap Faries)
